Grandmommy and Grandpa came to visit us Friday. And since they were only here for the day, we all decided to check out Galveston. I wouldn't write home about the quality of the beach. The day started out a little dreary, but it was nice to be oceanside regardless.
We checked out the historical district. Some incredibly beautiful buildings. (I had no idea how much history Galveseton had, I can't wait to go back in May for the homes tour)
Then after we ate, we took the boys on their first Ferry ride.
It was a great day!
Looks wonderful (quality beach or not)! I wish we could have been there too.
ReplyDeleteLove you, miss you. You have no idea how many times a week i tell people I want to move to texas. Randy always says it's just because of you guys (which is mostly true), but it looks so fun there.
