Food for Thought...

Well, our little sunshine is growing up! He is getting very mobile rolling, and crawling (well pushing) himself backwards, and now FOOD!  So far he is not sure he is a fan.  Hence, the above face in reaction to rice ceral.  We also gave him avacado for the first time (video to hopefully follow soon) and yesterday I fired up my BEABA babycook. I am totally smitten with btw (thanks mom), and we had a successful day of sweet potato for us both. (I may have polished off a grand portion myself...yum!)

6 Months

I love to read. I can drive. I can sing...sometimes dance.

Cute, I am.

Observant too.

Our little boy is really growing up.  He talks and laughs constantly. At 6 months he likes to hang upside down, cuddle, kiss, drink from his sippy cup (he skipped the bottle) and be on the go. A doting mother, I could go on and on. So far he is laid back but loves attention, smiles at everyone, and is the light of our lives.

Christmas Morning

We awoke to a white Christmas morning, a stocking three times the size of our sweet Saint; and a little boy who was filled with delight from everything that came out of it.

Early Christmas with Daddy

Since Jacob had to work on Christmas day, my family gathered a few days early to exchange gifts and open some presents. Jagger lucked out and got to celebrate Christmas' twice this year.

He loved all the wrappings, and immediately put everything he got to touch in his mouth. He got some great loot, and nearly shook himself into a frenzy of excitement over things.
The center of attention, he was quite a hoot to watch. The family picture was a great comedy this year as Jagger was rather taken with his charming Uncle Chris and that clever Santa cap.
All in all, it was a perfect first Christmas for our beloved little family.

Catching up

Our sweet little boy grows happier and more vivacious each day.

But posing for pictures is...well, he clearly defined how much he enjoys it.

Sorry for the delay in posts. Our computer crashed and burned and we lost everything...including internet access. So, now that we are back up and running, and the holidays have passed, I hope to be a little better.

End of Fall, Early Winter

It was unusually warm (almost record breaking) here in Chicago last week. The trees are mostly bare, but there were enough leaves still falling to capture and delight Jagger as we played.

Yesterday, Chicago was back to business as usual. Cold. I was happy to finally get Jagger dressed in his little snow suit from Grandma Mason.Though as you can see, he wasn't so sure about such a heavy layer.
I have no idea how to tell him whats-a-comin' next!

Halloween

What was he?

Hilarious!

Grandma and Grandpa Mason's

We watched lots of football with some of my uncles. Grandma and Grandpa bought me a swing, and I loved it!By the second day, I was multi-tasking.
But Grandma did read me the new book she got me.
We took a road trip out to Grandma and Grandpa's "Farm" in the country. It was chilly that day, but daddy kept me warm, when he wasn't working (playing) with Grandpa. Inside momma snuggled me lots too, and I even rolled over for the first time with Grandma. (ok, I had a little help!)

When we got back to the city, we were all tired. I laid around with Grandpa for a bit...
and then happily dozed off in Grandma's arms! What a fun trip!

3 months

I have given up on the paci for good. Never really liked it in my mouth anyway. It was keeping me back from doing what I really love to do nowadays. Talk...or, well, try to talk.

I practice "tummy time", But mostly just chew on my hands while doing it.

I LOVE being outside, and on the go. Good thing we travel a lot. I get to go on walks, ride the train and fly.So when I'm home and idle, I like to look out the window and watch the cars and people and noises go by.

Daddy and I can do all sorts of tricks together.
We even practice walking sometimes... But really I would rather just lay around on the couch.
At the end of the day, one thing is for certain. My FAVORITE thing in the world, is cuddling. (Especially with momma!)
