Pre-Labor Day Grandparents and Family visit
Jagger and I flew from SLC to KC to spend a few days with my parents (no pics to be had), see my family and Tim and Whits new house. Jacob flew in and we drove down to Arkansas for the day. We stopped in Joplin to see Luke and Caitlan's new house and hear all about their amazing honeymoon. Later Caleb joined us and we all got to enjoy a little dinner out. It was great to see them, but our time there was not enough!!
Later, Jagger got to hang out with his adorable cousin Edy. He was rather smitten...as you can tell.
Edy is almost a year now; Jag only being two months it was shocking to me when I saw this picture of how big he is next to her. (and how happy he is to be sharing Grandmommy)

He also got some real sweet lovin' from his Greatgrandmama Shell...
and his Greatgrandpa too. Short and sweet as it was, we had a great time enjoying the beautiful weather and both of our wonderful families.

On the town
Reading the paper with daddy on the bus:
Riding the El:
Look at the boys matching expressions, funny!

He loved the sights, sounds and smells of the city:
The boys:
Jacob's good friend Nick was in town for a couple of days, and wanted a little tour-de-Chicago. So we played tourist and hopped on the bus, saw Wrigley Field, rode the train, ate at a little local diner, headed to Michigan Ave, walked the Mag mile, then ended the day at the Millennium Park bean and left just in time to escape a downpour. Jag already loves being on the go! The only one who was tired at the end of the day was the momma (as seen clearly in the above pic!).

Getting Cheeky--6 weeks

Our baby is getting rather cheeky. Today was his 6 week check up appointment, and well...he is a BIG baby boy! Thankfully he is healthy as can be, and he is height and weight proportionate. BUT he is already 23.5 inches long and a whopping 13lbs!! In mommy talk, he is in the 97th percentile of height and weight! Check out those cheeks! I am pretty sure he is holding a good amount of weight in (both) his sweet little cheeks!Saturday, August 15, 2009
